My husband and I have a set budget for entertainment/eating out/gifts for others/etc. throughout the month. This site is an AMAZING way for us to get to do fun stuff without breaking the bank. Several days ago I got a full dinner for two (entree, drink and piece of pie x2) for $12.00! Did you hear that?! $12.00! This is going in his Easter basket! Where to get online coupons?

Here and Here are a couple sites I use to get online coupons. These are the most common and have deals all throughout the month. All of them have a print limit, but my rule of thumb is usually printing 2 coupons if I know I'll use them. Otherwise, it's just a waste of precious printer ink :)

I'm back from L.A.

It was a wonderful trip to L.A. with Merge Dance Company. We performed at Highways Performing Arts Center and the shows were both sold out. It was a great experience, but I am glad to be home! Thank you to all of you who prayed for my safe travels.

Why Free Samples?

I get this question a lot.

Why should I put my information in to get free samples? It's just a trial size and I might get junk mail from it. It's really not worth my time.

First, I want to address how EXPENSIVE travel size items are! Over $1 for a tiny tube of toothpaste or a tiny stick of deodorant. When we really get into the deals here at PeaceLoveandCoupons, you will find that you can get full size tubes of toothpaste and full size sticks of deodorant for FREE or ALMOST FREE. That makes the price of this little travel item seem even more outrageous. The best part about free samples is they are the perfect travel size. Since you cannot bring much liquid on a plane anymore, you virtually have to buy travel size items. However, if you send out for a free sample, you've just saved yourself how ever much you would have gone to the store and bought.

Second, I have received almost zero junk mail from these offers. In fact, the only "junk mail" I've gotten is more coupons from companies wanting me to try a full size product! How awesome is that!

Third, it probably takes 30 seconds to fill out your name and address on these forms. It is definitely worth your time in my opinion.

Lastly, often times you get to try out a product you would never buy in the store for free! It also makes getting the mail really fun.
